Earlier this year we recognized and certified a complete class of Drum Major Trainees through our Training Program. 8 sessions were offered this year covering a variety of items including:

  1. Leadership
  2. Conducting
  3. Score Reading
  4. Commands
  5. And much much more!

10 students selected a variety of projects to capstone their experience and presented those complete results to the staff and Board. Those project range from Bronze Star level to Gold Star level and include specific tasks to complete in order to achieve that level satisfactorily. Those students were further recognized at their University Band Banquet with a certificate of completion and full induction as members of the Drum Major Society!

It is always a please to recognize our students each year for their achievement. Our program covers a lot of material in a short time frame so its always a pleasure to see our students rise to the top each and every year!

A huge thanks goes out to our support staff and student participants for all their hard work in allowing us to have another successful Training Program!
