2021 was a year full of change, adjustment, flexibility & humanity.

From COVID restrictions to new Virtual ways of learning, the Drum Major Society worked to create as robust a series of programs as was possible. We are pleased to share with you that your support, whether financial or otherwise, made the difference this past year.

2021 Training Program.

20 students participated in our Virtual Training Program this year. Considering COVID and unknown territory for most of our educators, we adapted and frankly hit a home run with our workshops. Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we added another tool in our toolkit to be able to best facilitate student development where they are.

Giving.

2021 demonstrated that our friends and supporters are with us all the way! And that group in growing! 2021 saw a substantial increase in giving from the community. While a detailed breakdown will be available mid-year (the end of our fiscal) we can share that we raised nearly $4,000 all in.

This kind of generosity for our small group sets the stage for bigger and better things as we roll into 2022. More opportunity to give back and share our joy of music and athletic conducting with even more people than ever before!

Looking Forward.

2022 is here, and we’ve been working on some amazing new ways to work with our students, supporters and community. While we are not ready to share every detail right now, things are developing rather nicely.

All of this enthusiasm, joy, and possibility is because of you!
